Conguel dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 9th Jun 2006. Beside the road running along the shore out to the tip of Pointe du Conguel, and incorporated into the pavement just outside the SNCF holiday complex, can be seen the remains of this burial chamber.

Log Text: I visited today and was impressed with this singular menhir in a small field approximately 2km from the village of Bazouges.
It stands well over 5 meters in height and has various different lines and markings on its surface. I believe from local research that it was originally a polishing stone that was raised horizontally in the 1900s.
Even on a cold spring morning it is an imposing stone in a good setting.

Porz Guen dolmens submitted by thecaptain on 14th Jun 2006. Remains of two dolmens on the clifftop to the north of the Porz Guen beach on the Cote Sauvage of the Quiberon Peninsula.
The more inland is the most complete, with one capstone surviving on the entry couloir. The chamber would probably have been roofed with large corbelled capstones around it, many of which survive fallen neaby.

Log Text: Long walk along the coastal path until we reached the Dolmen high up overlooking the sea, lovely site but now roped off to the public so could only get to within 10mtrs of the site.

Log Text: I finally secured access to the site today, thanks to the local farmer. The site is in a remote area not signposted and full of young bullocks.
The stone itself is on a steep hillside and appears to have been broken many years ago and I suspect a large amount is still buried beneath the ground.
I have tried to gain access for a few years, not for the faint hearted.

Kerran dolmens submitted by TheCaptain on 15th Jun 2011. The western chamber has a 3 metre by 3 metre capstone on a chamber twice the size, possibly seperated into two by an internal stone.
