Log Text: The path takes you through a woodland which is not brilliantly maintained. There is little to see once there as the area is overgrown and has many large trees.

Pentre Ifan submitted by avrilmac on 1st Mar 2019. Happy St David's Day 2019. I find old stones very energising and make prints of those I have visited in Orkney and Wales. This is a collagraph (Original, Hand-Inked) Print, entitled Portal, Pentre Ifan, and can be seen at an exhibition running from 13-30 March at the Barbican Centre Library in London. See www.avrilmacdonaldprints.com for further information.

Log Text: This is my favourite site in Wales and it was a perfect one to visit with my two sons, not least of all because it is situated at the top of a slope - excellent for rolling down.
The stones themselves make an impressive sight against the surrounding farmland. The path to reach the site is relatively flat.
