Dolní Věstonice submitted by DrewParsons on 28th Jul 2011. The Venus of Dolní Věstonice on show during a temporary exhibition at the Naturhistorisches Museum in Vienna in September 2008 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the finding of the similar Venus of Willendorf. Protected from light and behind heavy glass this is the best photo I could obtain.

Skamby Jættestue submitted by holger_rix on 5th Aug 2011. Passage grave, surrounded by remains of a Round Barrow.
Chamber 3.3 x1,9 m, oriented NNE-SSW, consisting of 9 construction stones,
3 to N, 2 to E, 2 to S and 2 against W.
The chamber is almost pear-shaped, and covered by 2 large capstones.
On the west capstone seen 15-20 cupmarks, on the south-eastern part of the surface.
Passage towards SSE, it consists of 5 construction stones, 3 west and 2 east.
The passage is 0.5 to 0.7 m wide.
There is a lot of drywall preserved.
