This area is a veritable wonder for the megarak; well worth the visit.

Moel-y-Gaer (Llangollen) submitted by Erin on 31st Jan 2011. Moel y Gaer hillfort in the sunshine. On the lower slopes, to the left, you can see the newly restored figure of eight track in the heather which was created by illegal off-roaders, which runs the length of Llantysilio Mountains, an internationally designated Special Area of Conservation, and through the hillfort, a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
