Billesdon Cross submitted by Anne T on 26th Jun 2018. Site in Leicestershire and Rutland England. Standing just to the south of the cross, trying to highlight the older socket stone (between the more recent plinth and the smaller, modern socket stone which supports the shaft). This is supposed to predate the use of this monument as a market cross.
