Suederbrarup Grabhuegel Kummerhy submitted by holger_rix on 25th Sep 2007. The Kummerhy is an excavated Round Barrow.
It is dated 650 - 500 BCE.
The Standing Stone is about 2 metres high,
and has a lot of cup holes.
The circle of stones was added some time later, between
900 or 1000.

Log Text: It's always a special feeling to visit a place where you know that thousands of years ago, people stood here and performed their rituals. A beautiful walk around the moor is possible, and there are now several information boards.

Log Text: The complex is in good condition with minor damage (the capstone over the entrance is no longer in place). There are no convenient parking options for cars!
