Log Text: Wonderful museum - the parking facilities are a nightmare though. It's best to use a parking garage. The collection is well sorted for this. Unfortunately, a nicer ambience is somehow missing in some places. Otherwise I was completely satisfied with my visit!

The chamber is located just east of barrows' center and visible near the center of the picture. Only the eastern end-stone and the adjacent orthostat of the northern long-side are preserved in situ. Log Text: Right next to the better preserved Megalithic Tomb No. 4 are the remains of this tomb. The tumulus is still clearly visible and also some remains of the burial chamber.

Perhaps archological traces can still be made visible with an excavation. But the visible part is definitely destroyed.

Largely overgrown with ferns, but with a good amount of the tumulus still visible, which however blocks view of uprights.
End stone, appears to have rolled down tumulus, but makes a nice bench.

The largest preserved capstone measures appr. 4,1m x 2,7m. This capstone is supported by two orthostats of the southeastern longside. Sprockhoff assumed, that the entrance was located between these orthostats.

Log Text: A museum that displays a large number of artefacts from both the prehistoric and the early and late times of our modern times (especially for the northern German region). Highly recommended for both adults and children! The heart of the prehistoric collection is the "Forum Gesseler Goldhort".
