Carmzow Steingrab submitted by Boeddel on 24th Sep 2024. These stones do not appear to belong to the grave. The arrangement looks as if it is a cist, but according to the drawing in Sprockhoff´s "Atlas der Megalithgräber" the stones should be somewhat narrower.

Log Text: The founder of the museum, Dr. Kersten Jungk, was there and told all the visitors everything important, based on their respective interests. So everyone basically had a private tour of the exhibition. A small regional museum with a very nice collection of finds.

Reconstructed tomb close to the road from Johannesdorf to Grammdorf.
The tomb was excavated in 1982, after it has been found on a field nearby.
It was dated as 4700 years old.
The tomb has been reconstructed in 1983.
The two capstones are not original.
