Log Text: A beautiful hiking trail with beautiful views over the landscape and the Baltic Sea. I've walked past there so many times and only now did I see in the monument register that you can also find cup marks there. :)

Fjenneslev-stenen submitted by kristiansen on 5th Jul 2018. Fjenneslev-stenen. is an oblong narrow stone with inscription on the narrow side which is about 63 cm.
The height of the stones is about 220 cm. and the width is maximum 126 cm.
The runic inscription beginning at the top of the stone and runs downward, and says “Sasser raised this stone and built the bridge". In Danish "Sasser rejste stenen og gjorde broen".

Log Text: The fruit picking season is there already over and the farm shop was closed, but I asked beforehand and it was me allowed to take a look at the stone. The cup marks are sometimes very flat and difficult to see. Without the exact information from the Danish register where they are located exactly on the stone, I would certainly not have recognized all of them.
