Chambered tomb with 2 good capstones within an 35 meter, 60 stone, trapezoidal stone perimeter enclosure and tumulus. There are two "wächter" or guardians, but unfortunately one has fallen.
Nearby, there are quite a few tumuli.
NE - SW orientation.
32 Meters altitude.
Island of Rügen.

Log Text: A beautiful little cup-marked stone, but with coordinates that were more than 60 m away, the small stone was not so easy to find. but it was worth at looking for. The way to the forest when you come from the direction of Wetzenow is not particularly good to drive on and from the forest entrance it is forbidden anyway, it is better to walk the last 890 m from the crossroads (53.465280, 14.093264).

I was searching with very imprecise GPS coordinates and at every stone that I find in the vicinity of the coordinates, the tension rises whether it is the one I´m looking for.

Retziner Schalenstein submitted by Boeddel on 26th Nov 2023. I'm not sure if it's the right stone. The dimensions it should have are correct, but we couldn't find 8 cup marks. We only found one cup, and the stone is a little further north than the marking on the old map showed. But there was no other stone to be found there.

Log Text: To the east on the Retziner Straße you can drive into the forest and after a few meters you can park your car. The last approx. 900 m you have to walk. The path to the Burgwall is sometimes quite overgrown. A visit should therefore be in autumn and winter.
