Barnakill submitted by Billythefish on 26th Sep 2026. The hand carvings are on the top face to the left of the block. This is the front face, with a distinctive motif. Not sure whether it is natural or man-made.

Log Text: Park at the picnic site by the canal lock closest to Barnakill farm. There's a sharp slide down slippery grass to the lane north of the canal. Cross the bridge towards the farm and pass through a gate to the right, then follow the track parallel and north of the stream and follow it around to the left (north). Good walking boots / wellies advised as it gets very muddy and cows graze around the track. There is a sign showing where the art is, but the rock is nothing like local art panels. It is a rectangular block very close to the track and not immediately obvious for that reason.
