Log Text: Excellent site and well signed from motorway turn off for Kavala.
Follow signs for Krenides and you will pick up the usual brown signs for Phillippi Archaeological site.
Closed on Mondays but €3.00 entry fee gained access even when closed!
Excellent car park and good catering facilities. Marvellous cup of tea!
Highly recommended!

€8.00 entrance fee for both sites.
Allow 2-3 hours to see both sites.

Log Text: Quite a climb up path - not for faint hearted but well worth it. Other half bottled out after 2 kms!
Good parking facilities at top end and good restaurant at bottom end (some 10 kms from entrance)
Well worth the visit but make sure you have plenty of water with you on the climb up.
