The Calderstones
Trip No.14 Entry No.1 Date Added: 13th May 2019
Site Type: Chambered Tomb
Country: England (Merseyside)
Visited: Would like to visit on 6th Sep 2012

The Calderstones submitted by Andy B on 6th Sep 2012. John Reppion writes: The plastic sheeting the stones are wrapped in looks like it may have been loosened since the first time I saw it (last month), possibly to let the stones "breathe" a bit more. Nevertheless the conditions seem terribly humid for a fragile prehistoric sandstone monument which is very susceptible to moisture damage.
