Log Text: The site is on private land, essentially in someone’s front garden. You can see it over the fence but cannot get right up to it due to the setting.

Log Text: It’s still there on the left side of the track (the down side of you are walking towards wellbrook cottage) They have put a pumping house and water treatment shed almost on top of it, but it’s still viewable from the platform next to the shed.

The Golden Well (Dorstone) submitted by AJHL on 18th Feb 2023. The Golden Well. The bullrushes grow out of the pool which is overgrown and difficult to see. But you will know it when you suddenly drop in to it like I did! Thankfully no giant carp in sight.
