The Golden Well (Dorstone) submitted by AJHL on 18th Feb 2023. The Golden Well. The bullrushes grow out of the pool which is overgrown and difficult to see. But you will know it when you suddenly drop in to it like I did! Thankfully no giant carp in sight.

Log Text: The wood has been cut down resulting in new undergrowth over marshy ground. Quite difficult to find but it’s still there

St. Mary's Well (Compton) submitted by DavidCWoods on 6th Feb 2005. In the 18th Century the cave was turned into a grotto, with seats and drinking vessels provided. The cave is said to be unsafe, hence the gate.
