Stanton Drew - Avenue submitted by TimPrevett on 18th Aug 2006. For evidence of the avenue, go past the NE circle, and look for the linear earthwork. The line is visible here on the LH corner of the picture; the group is on another part of the earthwork. Looking on the aerial pics, and on the ground, this can be traced from 3 o'clock to 12 o'clock outside the Great and NE circles. I did have an excellent picture of this from the ground, but have accidentally overwritten it!

Felton Bowl Barrows T28 & T29 submitted by TheCaptain on 14th Apr 2004. Felton Hill Barrows, Felton Common, North Somerset. ST519648.
The central mound, complete with ditch and surrounding stone circle.
Felton Common lies directly under the flight path to Bristol Lulsgate airport, at the eastern end of the runway. This airfield was very active during the second world war, and it is known that there was much military activity on Felton Common during that period. It would not surprise me if the barrows had been substantially rearranged during that period, perhap...

This Stone stands by the side of the A4136 about 1 mile from Staunton in the direction of Christchurch. It stands proudly amongst the trees and bushes alone of its kind in this area, although there is a Long Stone near Symonds Yat I believe. It is said that if you prick this stone at midnight it bleeds.
