Menoignon menhir submitted by theCaptain on 5th May 2014. The menhir must be about 8 metres in height, of large girth at the bottom, slowly tapering up to a pointed top.
The southeastern face of the menhir has been worked into an extremely flat surface, of triangular shape, something which clearly took a lot of time to produce.

S'Ena'e Thomes Tomba di Giganti submitted by AlexHunger on 22nd Oct 2006. Megalithic Bronze Age Tomb near Dorgali, Sardinia (Sardegna) with arc shaped facade and very large 3.65 Meter stele. Most of the cap stones are intact.

Ancient Bronze Age village next to Serra Orrios temples. Ensemble of several dozen huts and central well. The huts were mostly round and would have had pointy roofs made out of a wood frame and covered in reeds. This is downtown!

A panoramic view of the Cockpit Stone Circle which according to Magicmap ‘includes a circular kerbed stone bank 2.8m -11.2m wide and up to 0.5m high which encloses an area approximately 27m in diameter. There are 27 (?) standing and recumbent stones set largely into the internal face of this bank, thereby creating the stone circle.
