Stursbøl Runddysse 1 submitted by holger_rix on 27th Jul 2010. Round Barrow, 2.8 to 3 x 15-19 m, enclosing a rectangular burial chamber, set of five blocks (one from NE, two from NW, two against SE) and with a large capstone. A modern passageway leading into the chamber through the mound against SW. Chamber has been restored in 1956, therefore we see some iron holders inside the chamber.

Bretteville Galerie Des Forges, just off the ferry at Cherbourg on an Easter visit to my sisters, at sunrise on a lovely April morning. This was a lovely visit in the early morning sun, with dew and a bit of frost making everything sparkle, and some happy and contented cows wandering around in the surrounding fields.
