Tronval dolmen submitted by thecaptain on 8th Dec 2006. Southwest of Plobannalec, the Tronval dolmens are remains of a type of monument only found in this coastal part of furthest southwest Brittany, and are known as compartmented dolmens.

In use from the Late Upper Palaeolithic to Late Iron Age.
Tricky access up a narrow steep path, on the western side of the Tor.

Log Text: Slight issue visiting this one - a herd of lovely cows had taken refuge in it so we could only look from outside at a short distance and couldn't explore properly. Easy to get to from Wetton Mill, but path is up a hill and a bit hidden
