Description: Site in Castilla y León Panoramic view of the innermost rampart of the Castro. The impressive 1st defense perimeter arrangement boasts 4 towers, (two flanking the eastern entrance – left of the picture – and two doing the same for the western gate – extreme right of the picture,) more than 200m of 3-4m high dual stone walls, a 5m wide 3m deep moat and a 25m wide “Chevaux-de-Frise”.
