Re: Armies trash Babylon by Anonymous on Friday, 24 March 2006

I was on Camp Babylon when it was turned back over to the Iraqi's. The only thing that saved that camp from being looted by the Iraqi's was the Coalition Forces. Plus they charged each soldier on that camp $1.00 a head to even pass through the blue gate and tour the ancient city. And we had to have a tour guide with us - it is not like we ran wild through the city. And I can provide you a copy of the handout each soldier was given on how we were to treat the camp. I saved mine. I am not sure what Haliburton did to the camp but I know the American troops and troops from other countries only improved this camp. Heck we even water the flowers and trees on the camp.
