Very glad to see the expansion. One difference of opinion though. The Norman period did have it's oppressive times(as did other earlier periods); but, it should not be characterised by such a term. It was a period of great reforms in law, government bureacracy and the start of unification of the Islands into a more cohesive entity as consideration is made of the rest of Europe (the scary big-picture of int'l politics). Not to mention the fact that there were some good families moving into the area.
