It wont be what they want, but whenever I come back to England from being abroad, and the things that strike me most while going about my daily life, are the overfull roads and terrible traffic jams, and the litter and rubbish strewn about everywhere. These are the things that I unfortunately associate with England (and not other places) for the last decade or so.
