This is a wonderful book. I have a second hand book 'Guide to Prehistoric England' published in 1976 upon which I had been relying and I have been hoping that a new guide would eventually come into being. This is the answer to my prayers!
I use the app and the website for site information, but the book is so beautifully illustrated and comprehensive that it is now my first port of call if I'm going somewhere new. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who enjoys rambling around the countryside searching for our ancient places.
