Re: The Old Stones - The new book from the Megalithic Portal by 43559959 on Wednesday, 29 August 2018

Living on the fringes of Europe I received The Old Stones finally today. I’ve been very much looking forward to this event. And i was not disapointed. Having thumbed through this treasure tomb of megalithic info covering the British Isles I’m very impressed. I’ve only been to sites in the Orkneys and the Shetland Islands so this opens up a fantastic new world for me in terms of the 1.000 sites I’m missing in Great Britain. Julian Copes ”The Megalithic European” opened my eyes to the megalithic world forever. My clandestin visit in the early 80’s to the Trois Frere cave using a canoe in the french Pyrennees got me sort of started.
Having been a member of the Megalithic Portal for some years, I’m very proud of this book and what it is going to mean to a lot people in the future.
Thanks Andy, well done.
