There used to be a truly great site which included a lot of pictures of 'stone circles' from Siberia - they were stone circles, but whether they had the same meaning or intention which attaches to our use of the word is of course not known, so I hesitate to use this description. The site is still there but the photographs have mysteriously gone. I have tried to contact them to see what happened to it, but mail has also been returned. It was a project with some NGO money (world wildlife fund) attached to it, so I suppose it is finished and they are all gone. There is however still some written information on the site, which is rather 'picturesque' but still interesting.
