Hello - I have remembered a little more about the Roman finds in Ffrith. I read about them in a book on the Dyke by FOX, it seemed to be some kind of definitive work on Offa's Dyke but of course I can't recall the title. They (council I presume) cut thro' the dyke near the start of the village (from Wrexham direction) to make an access to a village playing field. They put up metal gates there. Some time, in the 70's probably, a home owner extending the rear of his property came across the remains of what were suggested as being a bath house. I presume the Romans en route to Rhyl for their holidays stopped over.
