I use less film now as I find it easier to clip a Nikon Coolpix on my belt and leave all the heavy stuff behind. Find myself much in the position of the pro photographers on BBC 4's "Digital Picture of Britain" They are given a massive pro digital camera, a compact and a mobile phone camera and set targets. They have years of conventional experience behind them, but have to learn to overcome the restrictions of the new technology before reaping the benefits. I'm on the fence, but fear that film is doomed so I probably have to adapt. Best photographer of all time anywhere was Ansell Adams and he used a massive wooden box of a camera with glass plates and a tripod like Stonehenge. He often photographed landscapes from a platform on the roof of his jeep. I wonder what he would have made of 3 million pixels in his pocket?
