1.I plan to only publish observations. I am not interested in desk theories. I suggest you go and observe these things at the correct place, date, and time, being aware it might take you several years before you actually see it, because of the weather. My success rate at Swinside, which is only 4 kms from where I live, and I only go whenit looks good, is only about 50%. This why most people have not seen these things and which makes it such an excellent retirement hobby.
2. I am told the whole of our Solar System moves through the Universe, which means the Stars are not where they were 4000years ago. The Earth acts like a child's spinning top whose axis slowly rotates above its base. I am told the Earth takes about 24,800 years per rotation, which alters the azimuth of the Sun's First Gleam by about 1/4 deg per 1000 years.
3.I have not spent enough time on the Recumbent Stone Circles to be sure how they work, but preliminary visits suggest that they follow the same basic system.
