Is this the Ian Honeywood I used to work with at the Rolls-Royce factory at Leavesden, Hertfordshire, U.K. before it closed in the early 90s?
If so, I'm really sorry to hear of the news. I didn't have a lot of dealings with 'my' Ian, but those that I did have were always a pleasure. My memory of him is that he was a gentle, pleasant, and easy going person that never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was in every sense a gentleman in an environment that generally did little to encourage such characteristics.
The World needs more, not less, Ian Honeywoods!
