Join us this half-term for a treasure hunt with prizes in the quest for the Druid’s egg. Before the Romans came to this land, Celtic people called Silures lived here.
They had powerful druids that could talk to the gods and were very important. They would look up at the stars, and if the time was right and the moon was bright, they might find a Druid’s Egg.
This magical object was thought to bring you good luck, if you were quick enough to snatch it.
The Romans believed the Druid’s Egg had great power and they would try to capture and kill whoever owned one.
According to legend, the last person to own one became frightened and hid it somewhere nearby.
There are 7 clues to find the egg and the answers will lead you to all kinds of objects in the National Roman Legion Museum gallery.
Keep finding your way from clue to clue until you discover where the Druid’s Egg is hidden. Once you have found the egg, you can claim your prize!
