Hi,
I am living in Normandie at the moment,and close by me is a megalyth, Menhir
or carved granite stone. I have searched in vain for another like it. The stone is
carved? into a four-sided cross, it is difficult to describe, two actual crosses form two
further sister crosses. I am a sculptor and since living in Normandie have worked with granite, my is that stuff hard and tricky. Even with contemporary tools I would find the making of this cross impossible, so as fascinating as the meaning of these things ,for me is how?, how did they make something as complex as this, what
did those ancient people know about material that is not known to us.?
