Are you talking about the Schurr and Wallace mtDNA data? They found nearly all modern American Indian's have mt DNA from four Siberian other Asian haplotype groups, as well as some having a Eurasian haplotype group. I don't remember anything in their paper about Southeast Asia. Would you give us the source?
