I agree with the above comment whole heartedly. The Romans were looking for any excuse to destroy what was here before they came. Wholesale slaughter and enslavement of Britons followed their invasion of our sacred lands. What they did to Boudicca, her tribe and her daughters was apalling. There was little 'civilised' about ancient Rome.
So called history experts seem to be obsessed with 'sacrifice' without any other explanation being entertained. Could he have been an execution for crimes he had committed against his people for instance.
