Stonehenge Summer Solstice 2007
A SPECIAL BUS SERVICE number 333 will operate on Wednesday evening of 20th June for visitors wishing to attend the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge with buses returning during the early hours of Thursday morning the 21st June.
The service will operate from Salisbury Railway Station (connecting with trains from London, Bristol, South Wales and the South Coast) and operate to Stonehenge (West Amesbury). This is the nearest access point for public transport and the entrance to the Summer Solstice event is just over a 1 km walk.
Wednesday 20th June
Departures from Salisbury Railway Station at:
2000, 2030, 2100, 2130, 2200, 2230, 2300, 2330, 0000, 0030, 0115
Buses also pick up from Salisbury Bus Station (Stand B) 10 minutes later. Journey time from here is approximately 20 minutes. Buses will also pick up at any recognised stop on route.
Thursday 21st June
Departures from Stonehenge (West Amesbury) to Salisbury Bus and Rail Stations commence at 0515 then continue at regular intervals until 0945.
Fares: Adult Single £5.00
Adult Return £7.00
Children aged 5 – 14 inclusive half the above fares.
No other tickets/passes will be accepted or issued. Wilts & Dorset standard conditions of carriage apply.
