A new Orkney souterrain
Another souterrain has come to light in Harray (like Dale) in ploughing a field for barley . Historic Scotland has given a 2 week grant for its excavation (no visitors allowed). Also a hole in the same field reminiscent of that found by the South Keigar earthhouse in Deerness, Orkney.
