Are the two figures "bird's heads" or something else? I'm certainly no SCC expert, but the sketch of the slab (and how good a sketch is it?) doesn't look like the various "Eagle Men" (Cahokia) or Tennessee figures in bird-disguise (paint or tatoo) that I've seen before.
I take it that you suspect that the location is already known and someone is merely prepping the market for when the slab is "re-discovered?"
