La Cigalière Dolmen submitted by richardfrance : High up in les Causses above la Livinieres is a collapsed 'Monument Historique'. I thought I was in Ireland when he asked if I would buy his farm. It has a massive table - one of the biggest I've seen - and it's very long at nearly 9 metres. (Vote or comment on this photo)

All the necropoli and dolmens on these upland slopes look to Alaric - and beyond to Canigou, the sacred mountain. Yet there is only one tomb on the slopes of this massive hill. If a man in a blue boiler-suit tries to sell you his farm - say yes. You will now own some vines, a cow or two, and a dolmen. It's big - but it faces due south. Scary. The only one to do that.
