Tragically it was burrowed into from the top, and when the passage underneath was reached, it filled it with earth. So using the main entrance today (you have to crawl on your belly) is now useless to reach the main chamber, but it's worth a go as there are quite a few carvings in the corridor. The main chamber is now exposed from the rear though, and access can be gained that way. It is covered by one single massive capstone, and the shaped uprights supporting it are absolutely flush. You literally cannot get a razor blade in there. A lot of care went into building this monument, it's a shame it's passage isn't cleared to show it's full glory.
Average ratings for this site from all visit loggers: Condition: 4 Ambience: 4 Access: 4.5
According to Pierre-Roland GIOT: What remains of the very cropped tumulus (which was once 40 m in diameter and 8 m high) covers a monument in "T" shape, a little crumbled under the weight that overwhelmed. Now public property, it can probably be a little restored. The corridor of 14 m is long, certain supports of the corridor and the room carry engravings.
