golux visited on 10th Oct 2018 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 4 Access: 3 There is a sign-posted footpath to the stones, beginning at a gate into woodland on the north side of Dunnideer Hill on Western Road. Follow the "Dunnydeer" (sic) signs from the centre of Insch, past the lay-by for Dunnideer Hill (1.5km from centre) to a parking bay on the left side 2km from the centre. N.B. The stones are obscured by low hanging foliage except when the trees are bare.

Dunnideer Circle
Dunnideer Circle submitted by cosmic : Dunnideer from South The recumbent is a thin slab like the nearby Loanend and Stonehead and further afield Tyrebagger. In all cases it would not have been possible to see over the recumbent so what was it all about? (5 comments)
