When I eventually got to visit this stone, I found it to be much taller than I was expecting, at between 2.5 and 3 metres tall, and made of a lovely granite.
I had previously read that it was 1.7 metres tall. Looking carefully at the latest update of the ign maps, and it would seem that in this position is marked both the menhir and a borne, so maybe this is that. But what happened to the menhir? There was only one large stone out here.
