The important Sagranus Stone can be found in St. Thomas's Church, and is recorded as Coflein NPRN 401267. The present church at the site is St. Thomas the Apostle, a modern construction, built in 1847 within the precincts of St Dogmael's Abbey. "Within the church [at the west end of the nave] is the Sagranus Stone, inscribed in both Latin and Ogham and dating from the fifth century, which helped provide the key to deciphering the Ogham alphabet."
The Journal of Antiquities also includes an entry for The Sagranus Stone, St Dogmael’s, Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro), Wales, which includes a photograph of the Sagranus stone, a drawing, background information and directions for finding this site. The Journal also gives details of other stones within the church plus a list of reference sources for more information.
