Most menhirs of the Czech Meran were described in the fine book Stone World 20 years ago. And many have changed since. Especially forest itself suffered from the heavy lumber activity and so it is not easy at all to locate the stones today.
Good examples are standing stones of "Zádvoří". I was several times repeatedly in this area and never succeeded. But finally I was lucky when co-author of the book Mr Bartl accompanied me and simply took me to my troubled stones.
Menhir Zádvoří II is definitely my favourite one. Tall and robust piece of granite of an oval shape is leaning in NW direction. Some small circular depressions can be seen on it. Nice one!
