Follifoot cross
Follifoot cross submitted by rogerkread : Clearly the actual cross piece is modern. The top section of the shaft is also much less weathered than the rest, suggesting either it is a replacement or that it was stored indoors at some point. (Vote or comment on this photo)
The village cross, to be found on the green in the centre of the village, opposite the imposing entrance to Rudding Park. The cross is C9th Saxon according to the village website.

The name Follifoot is supposed to be Norse, meaning 'place of the horse fight'.
