Crug-Y-Dryn
Crug-Y-Dryn submitted by Horatio : I always think these sites should be better protected from cattle trampling and regularly checked for site security? There is little information on this site but what I've found is below: A substantial cairn, 3.0m high, where a large capstone was formally visible. Antiquarian reports suggest a chambered tomb rather than a cist. (*courtesy Coflein site) Crug y Dryn , in the com... (Vote or comment on this photo)
Chambered Cairn in Carmarthenshire

Crug-Y-Dryn is a three metre high cairn with a depression in its middle that shows a capstone to a possible chamber.
Coflein site no. 304200.

Crug-Y-Dryn
Crug-Y-Dryn submitted by Horatio : View from the C road about halfway between Meidrim and Trelech just off the B4299, West Carmarthenshire. The site is on a small plateau and would've commanded good views before the trees, hedge-bank and road came in to being. Now covered with Gorse growth and slight turf uncovering (see other photo) showing sub surface on the north side, possibly due to cattle trampling? (Vote or comment on this photo)
