The stones of all these sites located inside woodland usually appear more or less green from moss, algae and/or lichen, but some more protected parts still show the red colour of these glacial erratic granite boulders from Scandinavia. The "C" marks the position of the largely destroyed chamber close to the western end of the barrow. As both narrow sides are not preserved, the original length cannot be exactly determined, but probably it measured 30m. The width varies from 6m to 6,5m.
