The Willibrordus Heilbrunnen is a supposed holy well in Grevenbroich (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
The well was named after St. Willibrordus (658-739). According to a local legend, the well flew up from the spot where St. Willibrordus put his crosier in the ground in 709 AD.
The site was used as medicinal well and to baptise children. People lay down clothes for children when they wanted to have a child or when they wanted to thank for the birth of a child.
The well has run dry since World War II. The well monument can still be visited.
