First mentioned in 1921. Unearthed in 1971. Landenian sandstone slab, weighting about 4 tons, most probably the capstone of a dolmen.
During excavations, an axe in polished stone has been found nearby.
Access : from the end of the Rue de Sausale. This street (newly resurfaced -- works in progress, April 2014), ends as a Y-junction ; take the left branch, and walk about 200 m on an earth road, going slightly uphill.
Biblio : Brou, Mégalithes, 2nd ed., 1988, 35-37, ill.
