Hillfort in Croatia
Defensive or observation tower built by Dalmatian Illyrians in 3rd century BCE with some Greek influence. Nearly square 7.2 metres by 6.2 metres and about 8 metres tall at the highest point. There is a square indentation on the south side probably for some sort of ladder. Excellent view of village but difficult path. There is another large wall with fill in front on the norther side of the tower which probably protected the approach.
