This medieval monument has quite busy recent history. Its origin location was on the field near the village Úbočí. It was lost for for awhile, then rediscovered in 2001 and relocated, to prevent from any damage caused by agriculture machinery. Granite cross bears distinctive signs of weathering and it seems to have no petroglyphs. Its size is 60 x 55 x 21 and this fact means, that the cross belongs to smallest in Bohemia at all.
Local folks legend associates this cross with the siege of nearby castle of Borschengryn in 1452. Only ruins remain from this castle toda by the way. According to this legend it should indicate mass grave of soldiers, though it is not confirmed.
